February 1, the XXXV International Opera Festival named after F. I. Shalyapin opens in Kazan

In the program - 12 performances and two gala concerts featured  by  guest artists from 9 countries.

The  XXXV International Opera Festival after F. I. Shalyapin opens a  premiere - opera "Queen of Spades" directed by Yuri Alexandrov. The program includes a marathon of  creative masterpieces of the world opera scene - "Aida", "Boris Godunov", "Eugene Onegin", "Turandot," "Madame Butterfly", "Trovatore", "The Barber of Seville" and others.

The vocal forum maintains its concept of a "festival of voices." The main parties in all the plays are performed by guest soloists from Russia, CIS and far abroad. These are  familiar to opera lovers - Elena Maximova (Vienna State Opera, Austria), Mikhail Svetlov- Krutikov (USA), Ronald Samm  (United Kingdom), Evez Abdullah (Germany), Oksana Kramareva,  Sergei Kovnir (National Opera of Ukraine named after T. Shevchenko.) Oksana Davydenko (Kazakh State Academic opera and ballet Theatre named after Abay). For the first time on stage of  TASTOiB   after M.Dzhalil,  tenor from Turkey - Levent Gunduz.

Theaters Russia will present Tatiana Erastova Igor Golovatenco, Mikhail Kazakov, Nina Minasyan, Oleg Dolgov (Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow), Vasily Ladyuk, Alexei Tatarintcev, Sergei Polyakov, Marina Nerabeeva, Alexander Saulsky-Shulyatyeva, Andrzej Bielecki, Maxim Ostroukhov (New Opera named after E.Kolobova, Moscow), Ahmed Agadi, Vladimir Moroz, Vladimir Tselebrovsky, Victor Korotych, Ekaterina Goncharova, Ekaterina Sergeeva, Sergey Skorokhodov (Mariinsky Theatre, St Petersburg), Nikolai Erokhin, Yevgeny Afanasyev (Moscow musical theater  after K.S. Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko, Moscow), Dmitry Ovchinnikov ( "Helikon-opera", Moscow), Natalia Vorobieva (Astrakhan State theater of opera and ballet), Yekaterina Yegorova (Mikhailovsky Theatre, Saint-Petersburg), Daria Ryabinka (Krasnoyarsk State opera and ballet Theatre) and others.

Leading roles in the plays and performed by soloists of the Tatar Opera and Ballet Theatre  after M. Dzhalil - Gulnora Gatina, Venera Protasova, Yuri Ivshin, Aydar Nurgayanov, Yuri Petrov, Zoya Tsererina and artists of the choir, the orchestra, the ballet theater.

Over  the  conductor's stand: Marco Boemi, Stefano Romani (Italy), Renat Salavatov (TASTOiB after M.Dzhalil), Vasily Valitov (. Moscow theater of Novaya Opera named after E.B. Kolobov), Andrei Anikhanov (Rostov State Musical Theatre), Mikhail Granovsky (Ekaterinburg State Academic opera and ballet), Alla Moskalenko (Ukraine).

Creative marathon will end February 20   by  two gala concerts.
