In Kazan, a plaque to Nabi Dauly installed

Today in Kazan on the facade of the house №  3 on the Galaktionov   street  a plaque dedicated to Tatar writer Nabi Dauly has been installed. The inscription on it says that from 1961 to 1973 here  lived  a prominent Tatar activist, a member of the anti-fascist movement at the Buchenwald camp. The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Elvira Kamalova. Her  speech, she began with  lines from the famous poem by the poet "Min zhirdya kalam". "Nabi Dauly worked in different genres. By his numerous lyrical, journalistic, satirical and children's verses, he left a big  trace  in the history of Tatar literature ", - said Elvira Kamalov. According to her, the Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov supported the idea of ​​installing a memorial plaque and helped to implement it. "This will help for many years to preserve the memory of an outstanding personality" - hopes the First Deputy Minister of culture.

The event was also made by the Deputy Chairman of the Union of Writers Ramis Amat, each Nabi Dawley - writer Leron Khamidullin, head ALKEEVSKY fraternities Rishat Kazan Hafiz, director of the school, named after the writer and the daughter - Gulfia Dauletshina.
