November 19, 2016, at the Tatar State Philharmonic Society named after G. Tukai hosts concert of the State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia. Artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra - Alexei Utkin.
The concert is organized with the support of the Russian Federation Ministry of Culture, as part of a unique creative project aimed at reviving the concert activities on the whole territory of Russia and ensuring equal access to cultural values for the residents of different regions of our country to "All-Russian Philharmonic Seasons".
Leading symphony orchestras of the country have been attracted to participate in a project: the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after E.F. Svetlanov, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra after P.I. Tchaikovsky, as well as the State Academic Capella of Russia after A. A. Yurlov, State Academic Russian Folk Choir after M.E. Pyatnitsky, State Academic Folk Dance Ensemble after Igor Moiseyev, State Academic Chamber Orchestra of Russia, and many others. Due to the unprecedented scale of touring nu "All-Russia philharmonic seasons" students throughout Russia - from Kaliningrad and Murmansk to Vladivostok and Magadan - may come into contact with the art of outstanding musicians. Year by year the geography of the project is growing.
Today, the collective is one of Russia's leading chamber ensembles. Its extensive repertoire includes works from all epochs and styles. The orchestra has performed in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, France, Switzerland, USA, Canada, Japan, South Africa, Scandinavia and Southeast Asia. Its concerts were held at such prestigious venues as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Alte Oper in Frankfurt, Schauspielhaus in Berlin, Hall Queen Elizabeth in London, hall Pleyel in Paris, Carnegie Hall in New York, Davies Hall in San Francisco, Suntory -hall in Tokyo. The collective represented Russia at the grand international festival in honor of the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Education (1995) and the World Economic Forum in Davos (1998).
Since 2010, the artistic director and chief conductor of the orchestra has become the famous conductor and oboist Alexei Utkin. During these years, he led the collective to a significant renewal and rejuvenation of the orchestra. Significantly expanded stylistic and genre range. The posters of the orchestra include "St. Matthew Passion" by Bach, Vivaldi and Haydn Masses, symphonies and concertos by Mozart and Boccherini coexist with compositions on the themes of the rock band Led Zeppelin, the music in the style of ethnic and soundtracks.
In 2016, Alexei Utkin has become a holder of the Prize of Moscow in the field of literature and art in the category "Musical art" for his contribution to the development of national music art and promotion of classical music in concert halls of Moscow.
