The sold out concert of the festival “Wind of Change” takes place in Kazan

The first concert  of  "Uzgeresh zhile" ( "Wind of Change")  of the  Tatar song festival has been  held today, November 5 on the stage Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet   after M.Dzhalil. The concert was sold out.

Honorable guests of an unprecedented show were: the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the former president of the Republic, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin, Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin. To see the most anticipated show in Tatar world at  the Hall of Opera and Ballet all the political and creative elite of Tatarstan has  gathered.

Presenter of the  concert became People's Artist of Russia, a laureate of G.Tukai  State  Award  Ravil Sharafeev and the winner of the festival "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" Marina Yaselskaya that perfectly has   a command of the Tatar language and the ability to stand on the stage in no way inferior to his partner-Maitre.

The concert  opened a song on the music and lyrics by R.Yakhin  and M. Nogman "Forget unable" performed  by Amir Akhmadishin. Tatar famous first tango "Waiting for you," on  the words by  A.  Erikei, music by  S.Sadykova     a baton of the festival  was  picked up   by Ilyusa Khuzina. And dear to every Tatar "Snowdrop" performed Yazilya Mukhametova accompanied by a boyanist  Aidar Gainullin has  won the first standing ovation. With great enthusiasm the audience  has also taken a folk song "Gulzhamal" by Alina Sharipzhanova and "I Believe" by Artur Islamov.

 A program of the first  part  topped  the music by Salikh Saidash for the play of year  1948  "True Love" "Adriatic Sea", which was played by a solo trumpet of  the world-famous jazz musician Vadim Eylenkrig.

"First impressions are very positive. We are only half, the first part of seeing. In fact, I  wish   not only within Tatarstan our music,  our pop music, know our artists  knew. And I think this problem is solved here. Of course, our Opera House and its head Raufal (Raufal Mukhametzyanov - Ed.) have done a lot, and I'm sure that this movement "Uzgeresh core" will keep going on. I did appreciate the very positive,  so far I  have a liking for  all, "-  shared his impressions of the  President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov during a break.
