Night of Arts at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan

November 3, RT National Museum will participate in the 4th all-Russia cultural and educational action "Night of Arts". This year our program is called "KinoOdisseya 2016" and will be dedicated to the "Year of Russian cinema." The program promises to be eventful and interesting for both children and adults. Viewing of expositions will be accompanied by concerts, mini-performances, film screenings and master classes.

Children's program starts from 14.00 pm We will be joined by theaters and libraries of our city. Central Children's Library prepared a special project "Territory of cinema", where the staff will talk about how book heroes come to life in cartoons and movies. The exhibition will feature slide  projectors and projectors of 50s; the player with the plates (favorite songs from cartoons and films); frame "film strip" with pictures of actors' 50s; dolls - cartoon characters. It is always interesting to compare the film against the book read. Book exhibition "Children's Picture Show" will give readers the opportunity. Next to the books on which the films were shot, videos, DVD disks will be displayed. In interactive corner anyone can try himself as a presenter or a fairy-tale hero, using old TV console  and various accessories.

Children's theater project "TalanTy" at the Youth Theatre on Bulak (Kazan) will play "We're shooting a movie." Young visitors to the museum will be able to take part in a master class on stop motion and make short film in this technique, film dame room, to watch mini-performance, take the first prize in the movie quest through the museum, also for kids and their parents will work retro cinema with occasional newsreels from the museum funds and slide films.

Club of enthusiasts of intellectual games "Polygon" will play action-packed game  on  famous Russian and Soviet films.

The program for adult visitors will begin at 18.00 pm and will run until midnight.  Lectures on light  musical genre and difficult role of a musician in the movie, from the leading film critic of our city A.I.   Khaibullina are waiting them.   As well as a master class on writing a screenplay, a concert of music from the movies, silent films and live game pianist.

The results of the action will be announced this evening, "Shoot  your movie in the museum." The competition has already started. Any visitor can make a short movie about his visit to the museum and put it on the social networks. The winner will be determined by "People’s  vote" and chosen  by  the number of "likes". Awarding will be held November 3 at 21.00 pm.
