November 4th a gala concert of the national ethnic and cultural festival "Our Home - Tatarstan" to take place

The Republican ethno-cultural festival "Our Home - Tatarstan" is   held since 2012, includes the municipal, zonal stages, and a gala concert (final). Representatives of each nation living in Tatarstan, have the opportunity to show in all  diversity  their culture and traditions. Participants traditionally compete in five categories: vocal, choreography, artistic expression, instrumental performance, folklore. Since 2016  another nomination for "Best Cossack Collective"  has appeared.

 As requested by the  RT President R.N. Minnikhanov  since  2014   Gala-concert of the festival  has been  held on November 4 in the framework of the National Unity Day.

Annually  in the municipal and zonal rounds,  about 200 creative collectives, representing the peoples living in the Republic of Tatarstan take part. The total number of participants and spectators at the  Gala concert of the festival is more than 2000 people.

In the qualifying rounds, municipal and zonal rounds of  2016, since September  19  to October 18  2016, has been  attended by over 1290 people.

The gala concert of the festival, which will take place on November 4, 2016 at  the cultural-entertaining complex "Pyramid" with participation of RT President R.N. Minnikhanov,  52 collectives from  the 22 municipal districts of the republic country, with a total of 557 people.

The Gala concert will not  be  limited to the concert program:  the  platforms with performances of national collectives, and an exhibition of photographs "Peoples National Holidays of Russia"  will be working  out front  and lobby of "Pyramid".

As spectators from the municipal districts of the republic  the event will be attended by delegations consisting of  experts in the field of harmonization of interethnic relations and representatives of national public organizations.
