Literature Club "Darya" of RT National Library holds meetings with a national writer of RT Rahim Garai

Today, October 27, at 17.00 pm, in the Grand Reading Room of the RT National Library Literature the Club "Darya" holds a meeting with  a national writer of the Republic of Tatarstan Garai Rahim.

Creative activity Garai Rahim is multifaceted: 35 collections of poems, prose and children's literature in Tatar, Russian, Bashkir languages, plays and librettos for Kazan theaters. In 1984, the writer was awarded the State Prize named after Gabdulla Tukai. Garai Rahim is the compiler of the Anthology of Tatar poetry.

A major achievement in the writer's life is the work over  the national anthem of the Republic of Tatarstan. The words have been suggested by many writers, but it was  Rahim Garai who was entrusted a hard work to finalize the text, he  proposed the  commission several dozen variants of each stanza  in the Tatar language.

Literary evening with the participation of the poet is to attract the attention of a wide range of public.

The event will take place in the Tatar language, according to the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan.
