In Kazan, the VIII International theater festival of national drama named after Karim Tinchurin is over

Yesterday, in Kazan,  the closing ceremony of the VIII International theater festival of national drama named   after Karim Tinchurin took place. Total, 9 performances  have been presented. Showing of an absurd comedy "Crazy babai"   by Tinchurin theatre was held off festival. The total number of participants was more than 130 people, and the audience - about 3.5 thousand.

Each performance was distinguished by originality, artistic uniqueness. Spectators were able to get acquainted with the national theatrical art of Kyrgyzstan, Dagestan, Adygea, Mari El, and see performances of plays by Russian and Tatar playwrights.

Guests and participants of the theatrical forum have been welcomed  by RT First Deputy Minister of Culture Elvira Kamalova. Noting the variety of festivals held in Kazan, she stressed that the national drama festival is a real creative laboratory for theatrical figures, especially for young people who have just come to the theater. This once again confirms the importance of the social forum.

I am happy to stand on the stage, which bears the name of this outstanding playwright, the man who laid the foundations of the Tatar national drama, - noted First Deputy Minister. - Fruitful, rich life of the festival - a full house and great interest on the part of our Russian and foreign colleagues only emphasizes that the interest in the national drama, the national professional theater is not quenched, and I hope will never be quenched. Long live the theater! ". Elvira Kamalova gave to  artistic director of  The Darginsky  State Music and Drama Theatre named after  O. Batyraya  Mustafa Ibrahimov  a Thank-you letter from the Tatarstan   Minister of Culture Airat Sibgatullin.

It has become a tradition to open the program  of Theatre Forum by a  play of  one of the founders of the Tatar theater - a great actor, director and playwright Karim Tinchurin. For example, "A Choosy Bride" in 2014, the start of the festival program was the show of this  musical comedy. This tradition has been continued this year: after the inauguration of the Festival   the Tinchurinters   presented the audience a musical tragedy "The Extinguished stars."

The festival program was devoted to the study of modern national theater and actual  drama. After the performances, discussions of the seen  were held with the participation of well-known theater critics.

Theater critic,  historian of  Tatar theatre Iltani Ilyalova marked a feature of this eighth festival. So, this year theaters from Dagestan, Adygea, Bishkek   have arrived in Kazan for the first time. For the first time  also  Russian theater (Kazan Theatre for Young People) took part.

"This festival proves once again that art never dies, it brings people together. So today we sadly bid farewell to this year's festival, and will wait for the next one - ninth, "- she said.

Today, the festival program has been  completed  by Naberezhnochelninsky Tatar State Drama Theatre  with the   play "Novella of man" on the play  by Bulat Salyakhov. At the end of the play a traditional discussion of the seen with the participation of theater critics was held.
