The latest video "Ritual culture of the Tatars and its stage incarnation"

Republican Center of Traditional Culture has just released a new video - "Ritual Tatar culture and its stage incarnation." This CD introduces the diversity and wealth of customs and traditions of various groups of Tatars of Kazan, Siberia, Ural, Kryashens, Mishars. Original traditions  are  presented   by  amateur folklore ensembles from Omsk and Sverdlovsk regions, the Republic of Mari El and Mordovia, Mendeleev and Cheremshansky  regions of Tatarstan.

Video shooting was made in 2008-2015. .. During the festival "Tugyaryak uyen" and "Iske  Kazan tugyaryak uyeny" This is not a special studio recordings, but the real performance of the ensemble laureates during  the competition review  and concerts. The booklet-insert contains explanations and recommendations  by  folklorist Elmira Kayumova - member of the jury of many festivals repeatedly conducted master classes and workshops due to the fact that the folk-ethnographic compositions sound in local dialects, commenting article is given in Russian.

The main purpose of the edition - to help collectives in training and playing on the stage  the rites in their authentic (original) form. Considering that   vanishing  and extinct rites are shown, materials have value also for researchers, teachers and all lovers of folk art.

The video  will be first presented at the All-Russian Festival of Tatar Folklore "Tugyaryak uyen", which will be held  September 21-24, 2016,  in the Republic of Crimea.
