In his speech, Rustam Minnikhanov noted that today, under conditions of unstable development, the key challenges become a human security and saving mankind. "We fully share the values and the role of UNESCO, as an organization, spreading the ideas of peace and inter-ethnic dialogue, cultural diversity and heritage preservation, providing affordable and decent education for all", - said Rustam Minnikhanov, adding that the same principles are in Tatarstan.
He recalled that earlier the republic adopted the Strategy of social and economic development of Tatarstan till 2030, one of the main objectives of which is the development of human capital. Economic transformation in it is considered as a means of improving people's lives and creating conditions for personal development and the realization of their potential. "Particular attention is paid to the creation of an effective system of education: construction of new kindergartens, strengthening the material-technical base of the schools, introducing advanced educational technologies, improving higher education, - said the President of Tatarstan. - Together with leading employers, the resource centers are being created for training of highly qualified workers, which have concentrated equipment that meets international standards, and best staff.
