September 16, 2016,at the Gallery of Contemporary Art opening of the jubilee exhibition ин Nadir Almeev "REMINISCENCES" will take place

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Russian Union of Artists of the Republic of Tatarstan invites  September 16, 2016 at 16.00pm  to  the Gallery of Modern Art ( Karl Marx str, 57) at the opening of the exhibition by  Nadir Almeev "REMINISCENCES"

The exhibition is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of creative activity  of  Nadir  Almeev, one of the leading graphic artists of Tatarstan, celebrated this year his  70th anniversary. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia and Tatarstan, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan,  a laureate of  Baky Urmanche award, Nadir  Almeev  is a participant of many exhibitions since the early 1970s, including more than ten personal  ones, past successfully in Russia, England, Turkey. Since 1985 N. Almeev’s  work  have been exhibited and purchased in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, USA, UK, Australia, Turkey.

The exhibition includes about 150 works from the collection of the artist.

At the heart of many series are poetic works by  world classics: Charles Baudelaire, Gabdulla Tukai, Miguel Hernandez, Muietosi Fukagawa, Dante Alighieri. All this easel sheets, which are not related to the genre of illustration as such. "Reminiscences" - is the name  which  the artist gave to  one of his last monumental series, inspired by the poetry of Dante. In fact, it is Almeev’s graphic genre, where the fundamental is not so much a real impression  but   feelings, ideas and memories that are  generated.

The exhibition will last till October 16, 2016.
