September 2 at 16.00 P.M. at the Museum of History of Tatarstan statehood of the State Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" an exhibition of the master of folk arts and crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan Koroleva Svetlana Alexandrovna - "Golden Garden". The exhibition presents the results of 17 years of the author's creativity – master of manual art embroidery in different techniques on velvet gold embroidery (embroidery mixed technique, sewing and embroidery wool plait).
Preserving and developing the Tatar national traditions of gold embroidery, Svetlana Koroleva is creating not only in borders of already familiar subject line, but also masterfully interprets and passes Tatar patterns on now familiar modern accessories. Flower bouquets, iridescent, richly decorated with beads, sequins, cords, meta-thread and sequins glittering on gold on soft velvet are flourishing not only in the panels, skullcaps and kalfakah, hasite and izya. A variety of handbags and clutches, pouches and cases for gadgets elegantly ornamented unique author’s designs, made in a traditional Tatarstan style. When sewing author’s patterns, master used one of the oldest techniques of gold embroidery - satin stitch on the cardboard. Embroidery is done by hand, fixed hoop on old construction.
Svetlana Koroleva - member of the Chamber of Crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan, a participant and winner of international exhibitions: "Paris Expo" (France), "Exhibition of handicrafts" (Lisbon, Portugal), "International Exhibition of crafts" (Florence, Italy), "International Exhibition" (Germany), "International exhibition" (Bucharest, Romania), "St. Petersburg - 300", "Days of Tatarstan" (Kiev, Ukraine), "Spasskaya Fair" (Elabuga). The author is a winner of the contest "100 best goods of the Republic of Tatarstan". Works by Svetlana Koroleva represent the Republic at a permanent exhibition in Moscow.
