Rustam Minnikhanov presented state awards of Russia and Tatarstan

Today, in the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov  has  presented state awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan to  representatives of industry, agriculture, science and culture. Among the awardees - 56 residents of Tatarstan.

Also, the ceremony was attended by Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister RT-Industry and Trade Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov, Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin,  RT President's aide Leila Fazleeva and others.

We have a good tradition on the eve of the Republic’s Day to honor the most successful, leading representatives of Tatarstan, said in his welcoming remarks, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. "Today, the Republic of Tatarstan is developing dynamically. We have big plans for the development of the industry of petrochemical and oil refining, engineering, agribusiness and energy clusters. At the same time, we pay great attention to issues of education, healthcare, social protection", - Rustam Minnikhanov said.

He added that under special attention  are family issues, improving   performance of demography. All programs and projects  implemented in the republic, give results, stated the President of Tatarstan.

"All this is possible when there is a strong economy and stability. Very important is the role of our law enforcement agencies to ensure peace and order. I can not refrain from saying   about the representatives of traditional religions that meet spiritual needs of our people ", - said Rustam Minnikhanov.

Tatarstan President said that all of today's winners of the state awards are making a huge contribution to the development of Russia and Tatarstan.

Then awards ceremony commenced.

Medal of the Order "For Services to the Fatherland» I degree awarded Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Major General Internal Service Damir Dinniulov and Deputy General Director of JSC "Zelenodolsk Plant named after A.M. Gorky " Valery Pogorelov. Medal of the Order "For Services to the Motherland» II degree was awarded  Deputy Chief of police (for operations), Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan, Police Colonel Andrey Demidov. Medal "For life saving" was handed to rescuer of the  zonal search and rescue group № 2 of state fiscal institutions "Rescue Service of the Republic of Tatarstan under the Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations of the Republic of Tatarstan" Dmitry Mamlin. Also, a number of residents of the republic have been awarded honorary degrees, medals "For Service to the Republic of Tatarstan" and the medal "For Valiant Labor".
