August 30 in Kazan near the Center of the family, "Kazan"  the II Republican festival of ethnic and confessional "Mosaic of Cultures"  to be hosted. This was announced today at a press conference iat the news agency "Tatar-Inform"  by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Guzel Sharipova.

According to  speaker, the purpose of the festival - to acquaint the residents and guests of Kazan with a rich multi-ethnic culture of the country. August 30 concerts will be held from 10.00 AM to 18.00 PM on two stages (large and small)  in the  park area of ​​the   family Center "Kazan". There will be about 12 tents dedicated to different topics.  National clothes of different nations, dolls, paintings, books, pottery and ceramics will be offered - all  by what is  rich peoples living in Tatarstan.

There will also be organized several exhibitions. In addition, about 30 artists will paint at the same time, the subject of which in some way to  be linked to a multinational republic. The program includes master classes on folk dances, on trade and so on. Several tents will be devoted to religious culture. Here you will see the icon and the shamals, to participate in master classes on calligraphy and icons restoration.

The concert program will consist of three parts. First,  more than 40 folk groups from all over the Republic of Tatarstanwill perform. After dinner a sacred music will be presented, you can hear the Orthodox, Muslim, Lutheran, Jewish motifs. Then the guests of the festival will present contemporary music,  the youth groups of different directions will perform.

A feature of this year's festival will be the performance of several groups from abroad. So,  the Austrian team "GramArtMyuzik", which works with the tradition of Bavarian folk music and singing, using a technique yolden is expected. Also,  the festival  to be visited by  a  collective  of the National  Center of military-patriotic armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan - vocal and choreographic collective "Terra", which will bring a program of folk dances. From unusual guests can be noted the  collective "Chirgilchin" from the Republic of Tuva, using the technique of throat singing.

This year's festival for the most part prepared by various non-profit community organizations. Director of the House of friendship of the peoples of Tatarstan, Deputy RT State Council Irek Sharipov said that this year for the first time  a parade of House of Peoples' Friendship in Tatarstan is held. Presently, seven Houses of Peoples' Friendship are operate in the republic. For the first time the audience sees on the same site creative teams of all of them. At the festival will be 280 participants from the regions  of the Republic of Tatarstan. Parade makes it possible to compare how are developing Houses  of Friendship of Peoples, as well as contribute to their close contact, the speaker said. Total in Tatarstan live 173 peoples, they are more than 200 ethnic and cultural associations, 35 of whom are   working  in the House of friendship of the peoples of Tatarstan.

Chairman of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples Republic of Tatarstan Timur Kadyrov said that this year the festival has  prepared historical and cultural youth quest to Kazan. It will get acquainted with the historical features of the capital of Tatarstan. The quest involves active movement in the city for three hours. The speaker noted that the festival will perform  walkers, who will prepare a show program.

Deputy minister added that this year the festival will be introduced a new tradition - guests are invited to come to the feast in national costumes. A photograph of a suit can be put in Instagram.

Festival budget amounted to 3.7 million rubles. Of these, 2.7 million – financial  means from the federal budget for the state program "Strengthening the unity of the Russian nation."
