On August 25, the Day of memory of Musa Jalil and his brothers-in-arms  in Kazan on the Square May 1, a ceremony of laying flowers at  the monument to poet Hero and Stella of  his brothers-in-arms, as well as a poetic meeting with participation of the Ministry of the Republic of Tatarstan of Culture, the Union of the Republic of Tatarstan Writers, public, creative intellectuals, pupils  and students of our city will be held.

This year,  August 25,    72 years is turned  since  the day when the Soviet patriots,   Tatar group of  resistance to fascism were beheaded by guillotine in Ploetzensee on the outskirts of Berlin. Dzhalilevters - Abdullah Battalov, Zinnat Khasanov, Fuat Sayfulmulyukovu - this year would have turned 100 years old.

On the Day of memory,   famous writers and poets of the republic will be awarded  commemorative medals, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Musa Jalil, established by the Plenipotentiary representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation. The event will present the daughter of Musa Jalil - Chulpan Museevna Jalil, as well as guests from the Republic of Altai -  poet Anche Samunova.

M. Jalil poetry has no limits. They have been translated into dozens of languages ​​around the world. His works still excites more and more translators. Recently, the Chuvash language in the translation   by  the national poet of Chuvashia, Honored Worker of Culture of Tatarstan Valery Turgay, who will attend the meeting as a guest,   "Moabit Notebook" of the poet have been published.
