Kazan will host the VIII International theater festival of national drama named after Karim Tinchurin
From September 15 to 21, 2016, the theater after K.Tinchurin to hold the VIII International theater festival of national drama named after Karim Tinchurin, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan and Tatar State Drama and Comedy after K.Tinchurin.
In 2014, the festival has gained international status to promote the strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-theatrical relations, preservation and promotion of national drama in Russia, near and far abroad. So, this year it will be attended by theater groups from Tatarstan, Mari El Republic, Dagestan, Adygeya, the Orenburg region, as well as Kyrgyzstan. They will present the audience their best performances on the works of national drama. Performances will take place on the stages of the Tatar State Drama and Comedy after K.Tinchurin.
Traditionally, September 15, at 10.00, on the birthday of one of the founders of the theater, the great Tatar actor, director and playwright Karim Tinchurin at Arkhangelsk cemetery in Kazan flowers will be laid at the memorial stele with the names of victims of political repressions, shot in Kazan in 1929-1942 gg., among whom there was Karim Tinchurin (according to the archive data of the RF Federal Security Service for the Republic of Tatarstan).
September 15, at 18.30, at the Theater after K.Tinchurin, the grand opening of the festival. After that, the event will be continued by showing the performance of the Tatar State Drama and Comedy after K.Tinchurin "Extinguished stars" based on the work by Karim Tinchurin.
September 16 - the second day of the festival audience will be able to visit the two performances. Kazan State Theatre of Young Spectator on their own stage will show phastasmagoria "Igroki (Players)" on the work by the great Russian classic N.V. Gogol. On the stage of the theater after K.Tinchurin will take place performance "Mother's Heart" by Dargin State Music and Drama Theatre after O.Batyraya.
September 17, the off-festival show of the absurd comedy "Crazy babai" by Tatar State Drama and Comedy after K.Tinchurina will take place. The Orenburg State Tatar Drama Theater after M.Fayzi will present at the festival a lyrical comedy "Husband for an Hour" on the work by a young writer Aigul Akhmetgalieva.
September 18, on the fourth day of the Tinchurin festival, the viewers will be able to attend the performance by the Mari National Theatre Drama after M.Shketan "Wedding pancakes."
September 19, National Theatre of the Republic of Adygea after I.S.Tseya shows performance of "Praise Him" - a grotesque on the work by S.Hunagova.
September 20, the Bishkek City Drama Theatre. After A.Umuraliev presents spectators and guests of the festival the play "Remember" on the work by well- known writer Chingiz Aitmatov "Mother's Field".
September 21 - the last day of the festival will be remembered Tinchurin performance of "Novella of man" by Naberezhnochelninky Tatar State Drama Theater. On the same day will be held the closing ceremony of the festival.
Theatre festival of national drama named after Karim Tinchurin was established in 1991 on the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, and had republican status.
From 1994 to 1999, the festival was held in Kazan. It was attended by all professional Tatar theaters of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 2012, holding of the republican festival Tinchurin has resumed. In 2014, it acquired an international status to promote the strengthening of inter-ethnic and inter-theatrical relations; preservation and promotion of national playwrights in Russia, near and far abroad.
International theater festival of national drama named Karim Tinchurin aims to consolidate international creative force for understanding the artistic heritage of the National Theatre; develop, maintain and promote the best achievements of national theatrical art; provide the ability to theaters in Russia and abroad to show their creativity, based on the principles of the national repertory theater.
