The Kamal Theater to deliver the best play in a history in the Tatar language

19 August 2016, Friday

October 8 and 9, the Tatar State Academic Theatre after Kamal will take place  the  first   premiere  of  111th season   - the play "Bez  Vetril (Without Sails)" Tatar drama   by  classic Karim Tinchurin. Performance Director - Georgy Tskhvirava (chief director of the Omsk Drama Theater).

The play by  one of the founders of the Tatar drama and theater Karim Tinchurin (1887-1938) " Bez Vetril (Without Sails)" belongs to the most important dramatic works in the Tatar language. This pearl of the Tatar classics created in the genre of satirical comedy in 1925, today acquires  tragic features. It speaks about the choice of the Tatar nation of the way on the eve of the revolution and immediately after it. For centuries oppressed people have felt  freedom, have split up, failed to maintain unity. Age-old way of life collapsed, the last  became the first, enlightened merchants and patrons, officers and intellectuals, politicians and philosophers were out of work, have been pushed to the margins of history, and we are still reaping its bitter fruit.

The  play "Without Sails " by   Karim Tinchurin, in my opinion, the best play in the history of the Tatar language. This  is  complex in structure and poetics of a work that in some way superior to such plays as "Running", "Suicide", "Bath" and other satirical plays of 20s. This is a very powerful political satire. And who is there the target of satire – just is not clear. Satire  exposed to  all - rich and poor, the representatives of all classes and grades, but mostly fools, boors, ignorant people rushing to power - says the literary manager of the theater Kamala, theater critic Niyaz Iglamov. - In short, it's a great play. Not by chance performance "Bez Vetril" in 1958 became the first work of fiction, having won the Tukai  award ".

Premiere of "Bez Vetril " will be held on  October 8 and 9,  2016, on  the big stage of the Tatar State Academic Theatre after  Kamal, the press service of the theater  informs.
