"Musician of the world", having performed at the Kremlin and on Broadway, will give a solo concert in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan

One of the headliners of the V International Festival of Jewish music will be a virtuoso violinist, having  received after the performances on Broadway and in the New York Metropolitan Museum a  title "Israeli Paganini" - Sanya Croitor. An astonishing  master, combining  in  his work classics, jazz, rock, klezmer, September 3  Croitor gives  a big solo concert on the stage of the Tatar state theater of drama and comedy after K.Tinchurin (featuring cellist Leticia Ximo and accordionist Emil Croitor). The musician will also perform September 2,  at the opening of the festival,  and on September 4  in a gala-concert  at the forum  in "Unix"  complex of sports and culture(KSK).

 

Sanya Croitor - master of the art of improvisation, a virtuoso violinist, composer and arranger. The musician was born in Chisinau, where he had  began playing the violin at the age of 7 years. He fell in love with music through his father – a well-known in Moldova accordionist Emil Croitor. Sanya passed a classical school, but later he began  playing  jazz, folk and klezmer music. In 1992,   the violinist moved to Israel, where he gained experience of cooperation with well-known musicians (Shlomi Shabat, David Fisher, Albin and David Deora). In the early 2000s Croitor  began a solo career.  By today,  the violinist   has  published three records ( «All in One», «High Voltage Violin» and «Renewal»), the fourth solo CD   is being over.

 

Sanya Croitor developed his own style that made his name known on the international scene (Italy, Germany, France, Belgium, the USA, Singapore, Finland, Russia, and others.). The violinist has performed with the program on Broadway in New York, was the soloist at the WOMAD festival in London and Singapore, he played in front of the King of Thailand, President Bill Clinton and Barack Obama and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

 

In his  programs Croitor masterfully combines classics, jazz and world music, rock and avant-garde with his  own melodies, author compositions. His performing style is distinguished by a bright artistry that gives  listeners a huge emotional charge, according to Kazan International Festival of Jewish music.
