"Preservation and development of small historical towns and settlements"

Currently, the Ministry of Culture of Russian Federation is preparing the project "Preservation and development of small historical towns and cities", which will be implemented with the assistance of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in Vladimir, Leningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Novgorod, Tver, Yaroslavl regions and the Republic of Tatarstan.

According to the World Bank project preparation procedures are developed, agreed upon with the World Bank and held public discussions on a framework of document to minimize potential social and environmental risks associated with the implementation of the project "Preservation and development of small historical towns and villages": a framework environmental action plan and policy framework on resettlement.
