Rustam Minnikhanov meets with new chairman of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan Danil Salikhov

 President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with the new chairman of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan  Danil Salikhov. The meeting took place at the House of Tatarstan Government,  chief  of  RT  President  administration  Asgat Safarov   took part in it.

"Your colleagues vested a great confidence in you, - said Rustam Minnikhanov. - Today, the Tatarstan Writers Union faces serious challenges. One of the main - to save our native language, religion and traditions. The republic's leadership, in turn, will continue to give you full support. "

Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized that the new chairman should to unite and cooperate with equally successful writers of all nationalities. Tatarstan - a multinational and multi-confessional republic, so the issues of maintaining peace and harmony are paramount, he said.

Then Rustam Minnikhanov and Danil Salikhov discussed a number of issues relating to the activities of the Union of writers of Tatarstan.

In conclusion, the President of Tatarstan handed Daniel Salikhov seven-volume edition of "History of Tatars since antiquity".
