The event is held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the All-Russian Society for Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (ASPHCM) in Tatarstan.
The opening ceremony of the international conference was attended by Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, a member of the Federation Council, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee for Science, Education and Culture, Sergei Rybakov, head of the Russian Ministry of Culture Office on the PFD Svetlana Volodina, first deputy chairman of the Central Council of the All-Russia society for protection of Historical and cultural monuments (ASPHCM) Artem Demidov, Director of the museum-reserve "Kazan Kremlin" Zilia Valeeva and other officials.
International scientific-practical conference "Preservation of Historical and Cultural Heritage - human security factor. Heritage and Tourism" this year is dedicated to the International Day of Monuments and Sites, celebrated on April 18 and the 50th anniversary ASPHCM TRO. The conference is held jointly with the IV Congress city protection Russian organizations, which will be opened tomorrow. According to her, the participants of the conference and the Congress faced several important tasks: to find a way of preservation of historical settlements in the Russian cities and to solve the problem and the quality level of ongoing restorations.
As noted, in turn, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin, it is rather significant that the conference and congress are held directly in the year of the 50-year anniversary of the TRO ASPHCM. After the speeches and greeting from honorary guest of the conference, Airat Sibagatullin presented state awards to particularly distinguished figures in the preservation of cultural heritage in Tatarstan.
