The anniversary of G. Tukai to be celebrated in a large scale in Kazan

April 26, Kazan will  held celebrations dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of  G. As  Elvira Kamalova told, every year in April for Tatarstan - special month. April 15 - the day of the death of Gabdulla Tukai, 26 April - the day of his birth, in addition, on this day, the Day of Mother Language. This year, the events dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Tukai, held in all cities and districts of Tatarstan, as well as in other regions of the Republic of Tatarstn  and the countries of near and far abroad.

As part of the events will be concerts, meetings, conferences, round tables, exhibitions, action "We read Tukai", lectures in libraries, clubs, etc. April 26,  at 9.00 Kazan will lay flowers at the monument of the poet  on  the  G.Tuaki  square in the   Pushkin Street,  all  the  interested persons may take part in the event.

At 10.00 will take place  fixing  of a memorial plaque   of G.Tukai on the building  of  the  Kazan Youth Theatre. In this building, October 14, 1908,  for the first time publicly the great poet read  out  a poem "Hay market, or New Kisekbash".

At 11.00   festivals   will be held with the participation of the Republic of Tatarstan   folk groups near the monument to G. Tukai   in  front of the M. Jalil Tatar theater of opera and ballet. At 12.00, the traditional poetry festival will be held near the monument to  G. Tukai  in  front of the   M. Jalil  theater with a live broadcast on the TV channel "TNV".

At 14.00   a gala concert  by  masters of arts of Tatarstan and the awarding of the  RT State Prize  named after  G.Tukai  to  workers of culture and art at  the  M. Jalil   Theater of Opera and Ballet im.M.Dzhalilya.

"The cycle of events  has been launched  since  the beginning of April. From    April 24 to 26   Kazan will host the IV World Forum of Tatar women. Also,    the Kazan Kremlin will host an exhibition devoted to the works  by  G. Tukai  not only in April, but  for  the whole year, we will celebrate the anniversary of Tatar poet in the republic. In Kazan, the republic and a lot of memorable places, where the poet lived and worked,  will also  open the plaques of G. Tukai ", - Elvira Kamalova   said.

Flera  Saifullina in her  speech said that  in  educational institutions    a decade of  native language has been announced, in which events are held, dedicated to the art of   G. Tukai. Among them - a conference for students, teachers, competitions and festivals.

The speaker noted that the activities take place also at national and international level. In March, a master class was held for  teachers of the native language, which was attended by teachers of the Tatar, Chuvash, Russian languages ​​from different regions of Russia.

April 12 in Kazan a competition for young writers "Ilham"   was held. It was dedicated to the anniversaries of the great poets of the Tatar people - the 130th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukai and the 110th anniversary of the birth of Musa Jalil, and the participants were more than 2.8 thousand students of   1-11 grades.

Also,   these days in Kazan  the finals of the IV International Olympiad on Tatar language and literature is  being  held. About 500 pupils and students,  who have demonstrated the best command  of the Tatar language and knowledge of Tatar literature in absentia round,  and selected from more than 11 thousand  participants are competing  in the intellectual and artistic contests. Among the finalists - pupils and students from Japan, Turkey, Belgium, Finland, Belarus, France, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Australia, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as from 24 regions of Russia.

Kim Minnullin said that the past five years, the event dedicated to the G. Tukai  are   held  at a very high level. This period was the most fruitful for scholars, literary critics, Tukai specialists. By the 125th anniversary,   the first volumes of the  six-volume edition of the works  by  G. Tukai of the  academic   edition  came out.  Today have  published  5-6 volumes. Poetry lovers can buy these books.

On April 25, Kazan will host the International scientific-practical conference devoted to the 130th anniversary of Tatar literature classic. The collection of materials of the conference "G. Tukai and the Turkic world" was published, which included 150 authors  from near and far abroad countries, regions of Russia.

By the 130th anniversary,   textual    collection of   Tukai  "Spiritual heritage: search and discovery." The publication covers the Archeology, Paleography, codicology, textual, epigraphic and others has been issued .

Also,  the book "Gabdulla Tukai in Pictures" was released. It is dedicated to the study of photographs taken during the poet's life, as well as photographers who filmed  him.

In addition, the second edition of "Fenni Tatarstan" magazine devoted to G. Tukai. The  encyclopedia of G. Tukai  with illustrations is under preparation.

Rafis Korban added that Tukai’s poems will be translated into Turkish, which was not  done  since the 60s. It is also preparing to publish a collection in Azerbaijan, which will include not only Tukai poems, but also by his contemporaries.

"Tukai not only genius, but a prophet. He foresaw the future of his  people and set out in his poems. His poems are immortal. Written 100 years ago, and now  his verses are relevant and will be the future ", - said Rafis Korban.
