Ethnic motives are increasingly becoming a source of inspiration for contemporary fashion designers. Interest in folk style, different cultures and traditions in a modern interpretation has fixed a style "Ethnic" in a practice of young masters.
People’s modern fashion style is reflected in the collections of members of the Interregional competition of young designers "EtnoDar", which will be presented in the final stage of the Competition April 25 - 26, 2016 in Kazan.
The Interregional competition of young designers "EtnoDar" will be held within the framework of the Intercultural Festival "EtnoDar", organized by the Public organization of the Federal National Cultural Autonomy of Tatars with the support of the All-Russian Public Foundation "National welfare fund" (Moscow), the Republic of Tatarstan Ministry of Culture, Cultural Development Support Fund of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, the public organization "Miss Tatarstan".
"EtnoDar" is a social project, whose main tasks are: development and strengthening of intercultural communication and inter-ethnic relations; support and development of ethnic identity and the formation of inter-ethnic harmony; intensification of interest of young people to the knowledge of the ethnic culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia.
A collection of modern costumes created in a national color in accordance with one of the four nominations: "The festive costume", "modern national costume" "costume fantasy" and "casual dress", which was the most popular among the participants have been given for assessment by a jury.
The gala concert, which will take place within the display of the best collections by 35 young designers from 15 regions of the Russian Federation and the awarding the winners will be held in Kazan at 17:00 in "Korston-Kazan" On April 26, "Pushkin" hall.
