Jubilee Easter Festival by Valery Gergiev is coming to Kazan

May 3, 2016,  in the State Concert Hall of the Republic of Tatarstan,  in the framework of the XV Moscow Easter Festival will be held concerts of Mariinsky Theatre  Symphony Orchestra under Valery Gergiev. Kazan will be the first city on the way tour route of  Easter Festival, which will open in a  bright feast of the Resurrection of Christ on May 1 at the Grand Hall of the Moscow Conservatory. In the capital of Tatarstan celebrated collective will give 2 concerts, starting at 15.00 and 19.00.

Fifteenth Moscow Easter Festival will be held from May 1 to 17, 2016, with the support of the Government of Moscow, the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kiril. Rich in its geographical coverage, and number of musical events of the highest artistic level, anniversary festival will be dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev. The pace of the festival, according to tradition, will set the Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under Valery Gergiev, and the outstanding musicians of our time, the winners of the contest of P.I. Tchaikovsky, the best instrumental and choral groups from around the world.

The concert - the works by  Prokofiev. By tradition, the musicians will move on a   special charter train of the Moscow Easter Festival, and concerts of symphonic, choral, chamber and bell  programs Forum will take place in dozens of Russian cities.

Tickets for the concerts by  one of the world's best orchestras under the direction  of Valery Gergiev in Kazan are on sale at the box office and at RT GBKZ.
