Results of the Republican contest "Book of the Year - 2014"

Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republican Agency for Press and Mass Communications and the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan have  summed up the results of the republican competition "Book of the Year - 2014".

Total for the competition  314 books have been presented, among them: 39 - Prose in the Tatar language, 54 - collections of poetry in the Tatar language, 43 - children's books, 43 - books published in Russian, 64 - journalism and popular science literature in the Tatar language 71 - journalism and popular science literature in Russian. In determining the most widely read book in 1526 libraries of Tatarstan  took part.

March 3, 2016, Republican jury chaired by Rahim Garay summarized the results and defined the winners.
