The troupe of the Kachalov theater go to France

Kazan Academic Russian Bolshoi Drama Theatre named after V.I.Kachalov  will participate in the XXI Festival of Russian Art in Marseille.

March 11 and 12,   at the Theatre "Turski",  Kachalovtsers  play  a comedy  "The Golden Elephant" on the play by Alexander Kopkov, and after the performances  present a musical program "Cabaret."

Kachalovtsers - a welcome guests  of the  festival, and for the ninth time will participate in this annual celebration of Russian art in one of the most remarkable cities in the French Mediterranean.

On the stage of the theater of Marseilles "Turski",  in due time enjoyed a success "Trickery Scapin"  by Jean-B.Moler,  "Fiddler on the Roof"   by  D.Boka,  D.Stayna, "The Fatal Eggs"  by M. A. Bulgakov, "The Threepenny Opera " by B.Brecht, K. Vaylya," American whore, or a trip to Russia with an alcoholic dad"  by I.Kvirikadze, in 1999, the year of the 200th anniversary of Alexander Pushkin in Marseille  premiered  a theatrical fantasy "The Queen of Spades."  A year ago, "The Cherry Orchard"  by  A. Chekhov,  "Uncle's Dream" by  F. Dostoevsky opened the twentieth anniversary festival with traditional full-house  performances for  the Kazan theate.
