Institute of Additional Professional Education (IDPO) has launched a unique educational program of short-term professional development for teachers of children's music schools and children's art schools themed "Jazz in children's music education system"

February 4, 2016, the Institute of additional professional education of specialists in  social - cultural sphere and art realized a unique educational program of short-term professional development for teachers of children's music schools and children's art schools on the theme «Jazz in  children's music education system».

Presenter of  music seminar is a well- known in Russia, a musician, a jazz improviser, RT and ME  Merited doctor of arts   chairman  of  composition department of the Kazan State Conservatory named  after N. G. Zhiganov  and  department of music pedagogy  of the  IDPO,  professor A.L. Maklygin (theory and history of jazz, jazz piano, improvisation).

The first part of the seminar will last from February 4 to 8, the second  from  April 5 to 9,  2016.

The seminar program is not only on  the development of   jazz  trends and identifying opportunities for implementation of the art of jazz in the field of children's music education,  but also  classes  with well-known in Kazan and Tatarstan leaders of children's jazz bands –  RT Merited doctor of arts, professor A.A. Vasilevsky, R.M. Shaykhelova, with the leading masters of the art of jazz in Russia and America,  IDPO reports.
