December 3, 2015, in honor of the 115th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Tatar composer Salikh Saidashev (1900-1954) the State Concert Hall of the Republic of Tatarstan will held a concert-meeting "Poetry and Music".
The concert will feature the national poet of Tatarstan Razil Valeev (presenter, artistic expression), State string quartet of Tatarstan, Rafael Sakhab (vocals), Zulfiya Zaripova (vocals), Talgat Akhmetov (piano).
The concert starts at 15.00, the venue - Chamber Hall RT State Grand Concert Hall.
Salikh Zamaletdinovich Saidashev (December 3, 1900, Kazan - December 16, 1954, Moscow) - Tatar composer, one of the founders of the Tatar professional music. He studied at the Kazan music college. In 1934-1938, he learned in the Tatar Opera Studio under the Moscow Conservatory. Composer of the first national musical dramas, including "Galiyabanu" by M.Fayzi, "IL" ("Motherland"), "On Kandıra", "The Blue Shawl" by K.Tinchurin, "Nayomschik" by T.Gizzat and others.
In 2000, the name of Salikh Saidashev was awarded to a renewed Grand State Concert Hall in Kazan. In 2005, in Kazan, opposite the theater at the Kamala area in front of the Tatar State University of Humanities and Education (now - KFI) a monument to S. Saidashev was erected. Name of Saidashev bears a street in the Vakhitovsky district of Kazan.
