The VII All-Russian Theatre Festival of young Tatar directors "Remeslo" will be held in Kazan from December 7 to 13

The VII All-Russian Theatre Festival of  young Tatar directors  "Remeslo" will be held in Kazan from    December 7 to 13.  Within the festival  first  time showing of  sketch performances  by the  center of modern drama and directing "Pervy (The first)"  are to be held.

The festival traditionally provides an opportunity for young filmmakers to express themselves clearly. The festival allowed performances, directed by the age of 35 years old or within 5 years after the debut in the profession. The audience will see the performances, which premiered at the theater during the last two seasons.

Geography of the VII Festival includes performances of St. Petersburg, Ufa, Izhevsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Bugulma. All in all  in advertising of  "Remeslo " there are  18 performances in Tatar, Russian, Bashkir, Mari and Udmurt languages.

Performances of  "Remeslo" will be shown at 7 Kazan theater venues: at  the Large and Small Stages of Kamal  Theater,   Small Stage of  Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" , at  the Theater after  K. Tinchurin, Youth Theatre, Actor's House after M.Salimzhanov, a creative laboratory “Ugol”. Traditionally, after each performance of the festival, discussions due to be held , which will be attended by members of the board of the festival,  critics, journalists and other interested persons.

We  remind , the First   Festival "Remeslo" was successfully held in Kazan in 2009 at  the initiative of Kamal Theatre,  supported by the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan. If the first festival was attended by six young directors, mostly graduates of stage director department of the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts - Farid Bikchantaev course, now every year the performances are  presented  at least  by  15 young directors - representatives of different theater schools. The founders of the festival are the Ministry of Culture and the Union of theatrical figures of the Republic of Tatarstan, it is organized by the Tatar State Academic Theatre after  G. Kamal.
