Tatar folklore - the ambassador of friendship in Mongolia

From  October  20 to 24, as part of the annual Month of Russian-Mongolian friendship, the State Ensemble of Folk Music of the Republic of Tatarstan gave concerts in the cities of Ulaanbaatar, Darkhan and Erdenet. In  Erdenet, the Russians, working  for many years in this country  applauded   the ensemble. It should be noted that the city is famous for the Erdenet plant for extraction of precious stones. In Darkhan ensemble performed in front of children - pupils of schools with in-depth study of the Russian language,  in Ulaanbaatar - to government officials, leaders of various enterprises. All performances   by  Tatarstan ensemble took the audience with enthusiasm. Beauty of  Tatar girls and guys, wonderful works of Tatar folklore, the unique performance of various musical instruments captivated a Mongolian viewer.

Our countryman, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Ildar Rustamovich Utyamyshev was in the   Russian delegation.

The first performance of the State ensemble of folk music of the Republic of Tatarstan in the country has passed as part of the annual Month of the Mongolian-Russian friendship in 2008.

The concert has been  supported by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Mongolia, Rossotrudnichestvo in Mongolia and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan.
