Chelyabinsk Tatars have always been famous  for  cohesion and reverent  attitude to their traditions. This was stated by Prime Minister of Tatarstan  Ildar Khalikov, having  delivered a welcome speech to the participants and spectators of All-Russian competition of beauty and talent "Tatar kyzy-2015", which was held in Chelyabinsk.

RT Prime Minister stressed that the Chelyabinsk Tatars have always been famous for  cohesion and anxious attitude to their roots, language and traditions.

"In recent years, activity has increased. And  It is no accident: it means there are people who care, leaders, politicians, businessmen,  who understand how important it is to keep the good tracks on this earth. And there are a lot of people in the country. But there are    not so many subjects  where such initiatives are supported, "- says Ildar Khalikov.

Speaking from the stage to the numerous spectators, he stressed that this contest is differed by  an inexplicable power and excellent organizational work.

"In this hall  more than 7000 people have gathered  from different parts of Russia. I want to thank the organizers of the contest for you so unique, bright, beautiful event still further  strengthens the love for the mother tongue and native culture, "-  Ildar Khalikov said.

He also delivered a message on behalf of President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. "The first final of the All-Russian contest" Tatar Kyzy " not occasionally  takes place in the southern Urals. Chelyabinsk oblast  is historically one of the largest centers of culture of the Tatar people. We must preserve and increase the spiritual wealth that has been accumulated over the centuries by our ancestors – is said, in particular, in the text of the greeting. - I am convinced that this event will further enhance mutual understanding between peoples and the development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Chelyabinsk oblast. "

Next, the first deputy governor of the Chelyabinsk oblast  Yevgeny Redin and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Congress of Tatars Chelyabinsk oblast  Lena Kolesnikova    addressed the present.

Since 2011 in Chelyabinsk oblast  annually  beauty and talent contest "Tatar kyzy has been held."  Its ideological inspirers and chairman of the organizing committee is the chairman of the executive committee of the Congress of Tatars of  Chelyabinsk oblast  Lena Kolesnikova.

In 2014, the final of the contest "Tatar Kyzy" in Chelyabinsk was held with the participation of Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov and Acting Governor of the Chelyabinsk oblast   Boris Dubrovsky.

In December 2014 at the International Forum of Tatar businessmen supported the initiative by   Lena Kolesnikova for assigning  the  contest "Tatar Kyzy" an  All-Russia status.

This year, the final "Tatar Kyzy" has been  attended by representatives of 11 Russian regions.  September 15-17,  this year in the Republic of Tatarstan   preliminary stages of the finals - a culinary and creative  ones  were held  in Kazan and Bulgar, respectively.

The total budget of the contest "Tatar kyzy - 2015" amounted to more than 18 mln. rubles. The main prize - the car  Lada Granta.

Tatarstan in the Russian competition is  represented  by  resident of Nizhnekamsk Milyausha Murzakhanova.
