The Memorial Museum of Boris Pasternak exposed Exhibition of Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, a laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Tatarstan named after G. Tukai, a winner of the Republican Prize after B. Urmanche Victor Petrovich Arshinov "Dedication B. Pasternak."
Presentation of the exhibition took place on 2 October as part of Tchistopolsky state historical-architectural and literary museum-reserve First Pasternak readings in Tchistopol. The exhibition features more than 20 works by the artist, which first time are exhibited in Tchistopol.
By recognition of Victor Petrovich, on this series, he has worked for two years. Illustrations to the poetic works V.P.Arshinov began to create since the 1980s. He is the author of extensive graphic series of poems by A.Dante, T.Eliota, Marina Tsvetaeva, G.Tukay, M. Jalil, B.Akhmadulina.
The artist creates not direct illustrations of literary texts, but gives his own figurative interpretation. In the case of the poetry of Boris Pasternak's original compositional solutions, combined with individual graphic style allowed the artist to convey expression, drama, poetry philosophical implications of the Master.
Mixed technique works, using both gouache, pastels, thick batch of colorful mass create on graphic sheets the impression of picturesque surface. At the same time, the works by V.P.Arshinov ar attributed by a special lyrical mood, which is achieved by reverence of created images, delicate color combinations, the finest gradations of a single color palette.
Guests of the exhibition, participants and listeners of the Pasternak readings, highly appreciated the works by the artist, shared their own impressions of the poetry of Boris Pasternak, which largely coincided with the poet's vision of the world by the author of the exhibition.
Of course, only a thoughtful reading of philosophy and understanding of the great poet allowed V.P.Arshinov to become an artistic co-author of Boris Pasternak.
The exhibition will last until the end of the year. The museum invites all worshipers of pen and brush.
