Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" will perform at the festival "Belgorodskaya zabava"

Tatar State Puppet Theatre "Ekiyat" will take part in the VII International Festival of Puppet Theatres "Belgorodskaya  zabava" to be held from September 30 to October 5, 2015 in Belgorod (Russia).

According to the press service of the theater, the artists of  puppet theater  "Ekiyat" present at the festival one of the most beloved children's tales "Cinderella"    by E.Shvarts, directed by young artist Raphael Tagirov. Today, Rafael is a student at the department of directing at    the  St. Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy.

The premiere of this tale was successfully held in the spring of this  year, young viewers liked the staging. The performance was a colorful, musical, really fabulously fascinating, with video projections, animation and 3D effects.

According to the director of the puppet theater "Ekiyat 'Rosa Yapparova before  getting  an invitation to the festival, the theater passed  a tight qualifying round. "We sent out a video of our performance. Among the 54 teams, the Organizing Committee  only 16   had  been selected, -  Roza Saitnurovna said. - For us it is a lucky chance not to compete  with other theaters from different countries, as to get a great experience of communicating with other actors and directors. "

The primary aim of the festival is to preserve the creative contacts and the best traditions of puppet theater in the first place, the Slavic peoples, the exchange of experience, familiarity with the most important works of professional theaters, the search for new dramatic material, updating of traditional subjects, workshops for artists and playwrights of puppet theaters.

Among the participants of the festival theater groups from Tambov, Kursk, Turkey, Kemerovo, Gomel (Belarus), Kaliningrad, Simferopol, Kostroma, Bryansk, etc.
