28-29 September, as part of a tour over Russian cities, Kazan will be the first touring by Russian academic theaters of Donetsk and Lugansk - the oldest professional collectives in Ukraine. Performances will take place on the stage of the Kazan Bolshoi Drama Theater after V.I.Kachalov Theatre tours of Donbass will start on September 19 in Moscow and finish on September 29 in Kazan, the performances by companies will be held in Moscow, Yaroslavl, Nizhny Novgorod and Kazan.
The initiator of the concert tour - International Foundation for Culture "Russian Theatre". Theatre tours of Donbass are supported by the RF Ministry of Culture. Kazan tour will be held with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Curriculum Vitae of the Donetsk State Academic Music Drama Theater started in 1927 in Kharkov. The basis of the troupe made actors of theater "Berezil", and its founder was a graduate V.Nemirovicha-Danchenko, the famous director A.Zagarov. In 1933, already a creative team was transferred to Donetsk. Within the walls of the theater was born the idea of theater festivals - "Theatrical Donbas" and "Golden Key". For achievements in development of theatrical art Donetsk Music and Drama Theatre in 2001 was awarded the academic title.
Lugansk Academic Russian Drama Theater named after P. Luspekaev was founded in May 1939, its creative backbone consisted of 32 graduates of the Leningrad Theatre School. In 2009 the theater was given the status of an academic. In 2014 the theater celebrated its 75th anniversary.
Donbass theatres present in Kazan plays for children and adults. September 28, Donetsk Academic Drama Theatre will show the children's musical fairy tale "The Princess and the Pea" and the musical "The Three Musketeers", the novel by Alexandre Dumas. September 29, Lugansk Academic Russian Drama Theatre named after Pavel Luspekaev will introduce young viewers "Zaika -Zaznayka" by Sergei Mikhalkov and play "Colors" on the play by Ukrainian playwright Pavel Arie. Beginning of children performances at 11.00am, adults, evening - at 18.00pm.
