Poetess Lilia Gazizova became a laureate of the World poetry festival in Belgium, France

In mid-August in Belgium and France  the VII World Poetry Festival "Emlira"   was held  where  a representative  of Tatartsan,   poetess  Lilia Gazizova   took part. As a result of performance in the contest, she won the third prize in nomination  essay "Poetry and inner emigration" and was awarded the Diploma of a laureate  and a bronze statuette of Pisa,  handed over  by  poet and organizer of the festival, Alexander Melnik.

This festival brings together poets all over the world who write in Russian and is held  successively in three European cities: Brussels, Liege and Paris. This year,  a representative forum was attended by poets from the UK, America, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, France, Belgium, New Zealand, Finland, Georgia, Estonia, Ukraine, Belarus and, of course, Russia. The opening of the festival was held at  the Russian Cultural Center in Brussels, the main competitive events were held in Liege. On the final day of the festival poets performed  in Paris, at St. Sergius Theological Institute temple. By the way, the winner of this festival, held in 2012, was another  Kazan  poet  - Alexei Ostudin.
