Library in the Park

August 30, 2015, the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan holds cultural and educational event "Library in the Park", timed to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Day of the city of Kazan in the Year of Literature in the Russian Federation, the Year of parks and gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan and the 150th anniversary of the National Library Republic of Tatarstan in order to attract public attention to literature and reading, increase the role of books in the socio-political, historical and cultural life and the creation of favorable conditions for the population.

The event will be held from 10.00 to 14.00 hours at the monument  to N. Lobachevsky at the main library building on the street  Kremlyovskaya 33.

The program includes  thematic book and illustrative exhibitions,  an open-air exhibition of works by participants of "Drawing the library",  bookcrossing , creative book  workshops and   bibliopoezd, bookstore and more. Within the category "Open Microphone"  meetings with writers and poets of the republic. Their participation   announced  poetess, chief editor of the literary and art magazine "Idel" Albina Absalyamova, Gulsina Galimullina  writer, poetess Gulnur Kurbanova.
