"The pages of history of the millennial city: Old-Tatar Sloboda"

August 27   K. Nasyri Museum  again invites lovers of history of the city to the next, "walk" through the streets of the Tatar settlement - an interactive walking tour  "Pages of history of a millennial  town: Old-Tatar Sloboda(settlement)". The first such meeting was held on July 16,  and received a lot of positive feedback, as well as proposals to continue these meetings in  future.

K.Nasyri Museum dedicated to the outstanding,  Tatar educator, scientist, teacher Kayum Nasyri is also a cultural center to promote  history, culture and traditions of the Tatar people.

The museum building is a restored architectural monument  of  the XIX century,  and  is located in the heart of the historic town. Nearby streets to the museum are the most preserved part of the old-Tatar sloboda  (settlement). Once these  streets  were  the busiest  in a central part of  Tatar Kazan,  these streets  walked scholar  Kayum  Nasyri and many other prominent Tatar figures of the time, the names of which are the streets of the modern city. In this corner of old Kazan they at various times lived, studied, worked, worked. For example, few people know what madrassas graduated K.Nasyri that at different times of his life scientist lived in different parts of the settlement, in which he published his printing works ...
