National Festival of Russian folklore "Karavon" opened in Tatarstan

Today, in a village of Nikolskoye  of the  Laishevsky region of Tatarstan  XXIII National Festival   of Russian  folklore "Karavon-2015"   has opened.  The honored guests of the festival were the following: Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Chief Federal Inspector in the Republic of Tatarstan Renat Timerzyanov, Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan n Asgat Safarov, Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin and other officials. At the entrance to the holiday venue, the  guests were   met   by girls in national costumes with chak-chak,   bread and salt.

After that the official delegation headed by Rustam Minnikhanov   entered  an environment of the festival under the traditional Russian folk songs to the crafts alley, where craftsmen presented their products. The leader of the republic welcomed and thanked for attention every collective that played traditional Russian songs and songs of the war years. Near the site of the holiday festival,  participants circled Rustam Minnikhanov in a dance, and then the leader of the republic visited the Museum of History of  Karavon. Next on the main stage,  a grand opening of the festival and   a theatrical prologue "Treasury of folk spirituality - Nicholas Karavon holiday!"   took place .  It was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Victory. At the end of the prologue after the anniversary date,   70 white balloons  were released in the sky  in memory of those killed in World War II.  To welcome,    head of the  Laishevsky region  of Tatarstan, Mikhail Afanasyev  stepped up  to the scene. He congratulated all those present on the occasion and said that this year  Karavon   was  attended by more than 160 groups from different regions of Russia. "Holiday" Karavon "was truly a real cultural  brand of Tatarstan and symbol of  neighborhood" - said M.Afanasev,  and  thanked for the support the republic's leadership.

Then, to the applause of the audience,   Rustam Minnikhanov. got up on stage. He congratulated everyone on the holiday and noted that every year Karavon becomes more beautiful. "Such holidays as Karavon, Sabantui,   Pitrau and others  are  very much in demand, - he said. - They are the hallmarks of Tatarstan. I'm glad  that  here was born  such a good tradition,  and that this  is  tradition for future generations. " The leader of the Republic also pointed out that  it is  difficult for  dance teams to dance  on  the  place of the festival because of the rough surface. "It will be necessary to put paving stones" - he said,  these words called   approving applause. "We are pleased that in Tatarstan there is such a wonderful place, where we are always happy to come", -  said Rustam Minnikhanov ,  and thanked the participants of the festival and the organizers of the festival for  work. Rustam Minnikhanov presented in the framework of the festival a number of honorary titles and gratitude of the President of Tatarstan.    The certificate of 500 thousand rubles a leader of the republic  gifted  to   the two collectives  - the ensemble "Sudarushka" and "Karavon." Artists of the ensemble also received  presents,   shawls. The celebration continued a magnificent concert of original folk bands and talented singers. In an interview with reporters, Rustam Minnikhanov shared that he enjoys  a very positive mood. "Day is  beautiful, a well-prepared festival, the people are so kind, open, talented", - he said. According to him, Karavon will become more ambitious festival with many participants. We remind  before the holiday Rustam Minnikhanov  in Laishevsky  region of the republic     a number of socially important facilities, including a multipurpose center with a rural club.   Has opened  "We have specially launched this program to have appeared such universal platform where you can  go in for  sports, creativity, communicate," -  R. Minnikhanov said, responding to a question on the implementation of the national program "Rural  club". Laishevsky   region , he said, is becoming more attractive, because here, a corresponding work is being implemented. "We believe that Laishevsky  region  - one of our leaders in the social reconstruction of the village, building infrastructure, business development. This all is developing in  complex. If there is a school, a club, there are roads, businesses, and hence  the  work will be. If we build it, and the work will not   be, people will not live here, so it is a complex work "- summed up    Rustam Minnikhanov. Traditionally, the festival was presented  this year by  a village  farmstead, Russian log hut,   town  of craftsmen. The main guests of  “Karavon-2015 "became an ensemble of Russian song" Golden Ring "with a soloist Nadezhda Kadysheva and Russian folk group" Slavic tunes. " The festival will end  by a traditional dance of the common round dance  on  a meadow.
