Denis Matsuev will present soloists of two best orchestras of the world in Kazan

On May 22, the State Grand  Concert Hall of the Republic of Tatarstan    holds  a concert  by  the famous pianist, People's Artist of Russia Denis Matsuev,  and a chamber orchestra of  the  "Vienna-Berlin" conducted by Rainer Honeck. The concert will be held with the support of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the festival "White Lilac". Beginning at 18.30.

The "Vienna-Berlin" - one of the leading chamber orchestras in the world. The team was formed in 2005, it was composed of musicians of the  two major orchestras,  constantly  included in the top of the best in the world - the Vienna Philharmonic and the Berlin Philharmonic. One of the founders of the orchestra was outstanding conductor Sir Simon Rattle, artistic director of the band became famous violinist Rainer Honeck, concertmaster of the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

In Kazan, the  Chamber Orchestra "Vienna-Berlin" will perform "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" by  V.Mozart, Serenade for String Orchestra  by P.  Tchaikovsky, as well as a concerto for piano and orchestra № 1 by D. Shostakovich (soloist - Denis Matsuev).
