Master of Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan performed in Ankara

Within the framework of his working visit to Ankara, acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the concert  given by  Tatarstan masters of arts. The event was held at the venue  of  the  "Kongressium" in a Turkish capital. Also,   the event was attended by the Mayor of Ankara Melih Gekchek,  Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Minister of Culture Airat Sibagatullin and others.

In one of the halls of the  "Kogressium"  an exhibition of folk art and crafts of the Republic of Tatarstan,  and the photo exhibition "Tatarstan   by  the  eyes of the Turkish photographers"   has been organized.  Rustam Minnikhanov and Melih Gekchek examined exposure and noted that Tatarstan and Turkey have much in common in culture and the arts.

In his speech Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Mayor of Ankara for the reception, and added that the cooperation between Turkey and Tatarstan today is carried out largely thanks to Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Rezhep Tayyip Erdogan.

We are proud that with the Turkish Republic, we have established good reliable relations, Rustam Minnikhanov emphasized. He added that today many Turkish investors namely    from Tatarstan would like to  start their business in Russia.

"In this wonderful evening we want to introduce you to our culture. I want to note once again that we are brothers, our language, culture and religion are very close. And we really appreciate this," -  Rustam Minnikhanov said.

Thanking for the visit Rustam Minnikhanov, Melih Gekchek said that Kazan is one of the twin cities of Ankara. He said that today in the presence of the acting President of Tatarstan had  signed an agreement on implementation of the program of joint activities between Kazan and Ankara. "I am confident that this agreement, which will govern the cooperation between the two cities have a positive effect on relations between our countries", - said Melih Gekchek. According to him, Kazan and Ankara have much to learn from each other. He added that the result of joint work could  be assessed in the near future.

Next, on the stage  a concert of masters of art of Tatarstan was performed.  Before  the  spectators  the  RT  State Symphonic Ensemble, the State Ensemble of Folk Music of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Gulnora Rakhimova, Ilham Valiyev, Filyus Kagirov, Aigul Khairy, Ruzil Gatin,  Elmira Kalimullina and others performed.  A finalist  of  Russian television program "Golos. Deti "a young singer  Saida  Mukhametzyanovar,  and  a winner of the second prize at the International Song Contest" Tyurkvidenie - 2014 "Aidar Suleymanov   delighted the audience and  of  the  compatriots the Turkish capital.
