Kazan will celebrate Mother Language Day
This weekend the events dedicated to Mother Language Day will be held in Kazan. We remind that this holiday in the Republic of Tatarstan traditionally April 26 - the birthday of the founder of classical Tatar poetry G. Tukai is celebrated.
On April 25, at the M. Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet Theatre a solemn event dedicated to Mother Language Day, with the participation of the Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov will take place. Delivering the State awards e of the Republic of Tatarstan named after G.Tukai for 2015 will be held.
The concert program of the event will include ballet dancers of M.Jalil TASTOiB, Gulnora Gatina, Ruzil Gatin, Saida Mukhametzyanova, Filyus Kagirov, RT State ensemble of folk music under the direction Aydar Fayzrahmanov, dance ensemble "Kazan", readers Ildus Akhmetzyanov, Richat Akhmadullin and Emil Talipov, RT State Chamber Choir under direction Milyausha Tamindarovoy, Arthur Mingazov, Marat Galimov and others. The event starts at 12.00 AM.
In the evening of the same day at the M. Jalil Tatar Academic State Opera and Ballet R.Ahiyarova’s opera "Love of the poet" dedicated to the life of G. Tukai will be shown. The main parties in the play to be performed by the soloist of the Mariinsky Theatre Ahmed Agadi (Gabdulla Tukai) and soloists of M. Jalil TASTOiB Gulnora Gatina (Zaytuna), Artur Islam (Fatykh Amirhan). Conductor - Renat Salavatov. Performance starts at 18.00 PM.
April 26, at 11.00 AM, laying the flowers at the monument in the park named after G.Tukai with the leadership of the republic, 12:00AM - near the monument to G.Tukai, Teatralnaya street, a poetry festival dedicated to the 129th anniversary of the birth of G. Tukai (with the participation of RT State Council chairman F.Kh. Mukhametshin).
From April 24 to 28, in Kazan, the International Festival of Young Turkic-speaking writers will be held. Opening the festival will be held on April 24 at 14.00PM in a Club named after G.Tukai, in the RT Writers Union. It is assumed that in addition to the section on prose, poetry, drama and criticism, the festival participants will visit Kazan sightseeing, historic sights of the Arsk region (Kyrlay village) associated with the life of prominent Tatar poet-classic G.Tukai will take place.
