The IV International Khlebnikov festival LADOMIR will be held in Tatarstan in the year of the 130th anniversary of the outstanding reformer of the poetic language, one of the theoreticians of Russian Futurism and the avant-garde art, "teacher" of Mayakovsky, Velimir Khlebnikov. This festival is well known in the country and went into the calendar of literary events in Russia.
The founder and organizer of the festival - Fund "KANAFER" supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Writers' Union of Tatarstan, Yelabuga State Museum.
Khlebnikov is associated with Kazan by ten years, nearly a third of his short-lived, but a bright and eventful life and poetry. V. Khlebnikov came to Kazan with his family from Simbirsk in 1898, and left the city at 23, he was transferred from the University of Kazan (he studied first at math, and then transferred to a natural faculty ) in St. Petersburg.
It is because of Kazan in 1904 Khlebnikov sent his first works (the play "Elena Gordyachkina") to Maxim Gorky, who kindly appreciated creativity of novice author. Participating in student demonstrations in 1903, Velimir was arrested and spent a month in transit prison, located close to the Kremlin (at one time there was detained also Vladimir Ulyanov).
There are a lot of memorable "Khlebnikov" places in Kazan. These are University, transfer prisons and building of Mariinsky Gymnasium and Art School, currently - Art School named after N.I. Feshin where many famous artists studied: Nicolai Fechin, Alexander Rodchenko and his wife and comrade Varvara Stepanova, Igor Vulokh (already in 1950) and many others.
The guests of the festival will be famous poets, winners of international and Russian awards: Professor of the Russian State Humanitarian University, a researcher of the Russian avant-garde Yuri Orlicko (Moscow); Olga Sulchinskaya (Moscow); editor of "Literary Azerbaijan» Alina Talybova (Azerbaijan); editor of the poetry journal "Arion" Dmitry Tonkonogov (Moscow); deputy chief editor of "Zinziver" Vladimir Shpakov (St. Petersburg); Elena Generozova (Moscow), Vice newspaper "Ex Libris" ("Nezavisimaya Gazeta") Andrey Shcherbak-Zhukov (Moscow); organizer of the festival "Petersburg bridges" Galina Ilyuhina (St. Petersburg); chief editor of "The other hemisphere" Eugene V.Haritonov (Moscow); Konstantin Strukov (Moscow); Eugene Myakishev and Seva Gurevich (St. Petersburg); Gennady Kalashnikov, Maxim Glikin, Natalia Elizarova (Moscow).
His poems read as Kazan Lorence Blinov, Alex Ostudin, Lilia Gazizova, Nuri Burnashev, Natan Solodukho, Ayrat Bik Bulatov, Nail Ishmukhametov, Olga Zhuravleva, Vera Khamidullina (Naberezhnye Chelny), Vadim Gershanov, Svetlana Grunis and others.
Poetry festival participants represented in the literary almanac "Pushkinoty" (compiled by Lilia Gazizova), which will be launched at the opening of the festival, as well as in the magazine "Kazan".
