Valery Gergiev arrives in Kazan

April 29, the  Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra under  the  direction of Valery Gergiev within the  framework  of  the XIV Moscow Easter Festival will perform in Kazan. On the stage of the concert hall named after S.Saidashev  musicians are going to give a concert in the evening 18-00. The program of performances to be announced.

The musicians come to Kazan  from Samara, and the next day - April 30 - will go to Moscow.

We remind that the Fourteenth Moscow Easter Festival will be held from April 12 to May 9, 2015 with the support of the Moscow Government, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and with the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill. Rich in its geographical coverage and the number of musical events of high artistic level   the festival   of this year will be devoted to two grand dates in world history and world musical culture: the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War,  and the 175th anniversary of the great Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky.
