April 5 Museum Open Day

Exactly 120 years ago, April 5, 1895, Kazan Scientific and Industrial Museum opened its doors to the public. Today it is known as the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

A jubilee year full of interesting events and activities. Among them is the charity event "Days of donations," which will be held from April 1 to 5.

 April 5, the Museum Open Day. Entrance to the museum is free all day!

From 10 to 18, for all visitors the tours on exhibitions and displays are held, and from 10 to 17, the guests can meet with the characters in "animated exposure."

During the day master classes on various kinds of crafts: lace case, pottery, leather and leather case mosaic, weaving beads, needlework, gold embroidery, etc will be held.

Guests of the festival will be able to see the "Kaleidoscope Museum Collections" – museum stock shows, introducing the rarities of RT NM. Everybody will find a fascinating journey into the world of coins and old books.

Also, not without attention to remain people with disabilities. Classes "Real Estate - spirit of the times" using tactile exhibits will be arranged.

At the halls of the museum, a military history club "Vityaz" tells guests a feast on armor and armed with Russian and German soldiers, "fencing history" of this year will be devoted to the anniversary of the Battle on the Ice, which took place on April 5, 1242 Students of the studio "Demiserkl" demonstrate equipment and fencing technique of medieval weapons.

At the festival, the results of competitions "Most, most, most!" and " To a beloved museum dedicated ..." to be announced, , which is held from April1 to 5 April. All the participants and winners to receive prizes.

At 14.00, the closing of traditional charity event "Days of donations" and "Parade of the exhibits" takes place. The donors, having won the contest will receive prizes.

The holiday is to be over by bringing in a huge birthday cake, which to be enjoyed by holiday guests.
