Artists of Tatarstan took part in a tour of Nowruz through cities of Europe and Turkey

International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY) turned the celebration of Nowruz in an  annual festival of folklore and music of Turkic peoples. In 2015, the tour Nowruz  has covered three European cities - Paris, Cologne and Vienna - and 20 cities in Turkey. The partners in this project became permanent representatives  to the  UNESCO of number of  countries - Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Centre for the Study of Turkey named  after Yunus Emre (Institute of Yunus Emre).

At the invitation of TURKSOY,    140 artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, China, Gagauzia (Moldova), regions of Russia - Altai, Bashkortostan, Sakha (Yakutia), Khakassia, Tuva, Tatarstan and Dagestan  took part  in   Nowruz    concerts. Our republic  in a gala concert of Nowruz in UNESCO headquarters, as well as  on the  scenes of Cologne and Vienna presented  a soloist of the Tatar State Philharmonic  n.a.  G. Tukai, accordion virtuoso Aydar Valeev. Together with him the art of Russian regions showed dancers of Gosansamblya   named after  F.Gaskarov  and ethno-rock band "Argymak" (Bashkortostan), State National Theatre of dance and song "Altam" (Altai), Tuva National Song and Dance Ensemble "Sayan" State of vocal and choreographic ensemble "Dagestan", lead singer  Ruslan Ivakin (Khakassia) and virtuoso  homuzist   Juliana  Krivoshapkina (Sakha-Yakutia, Russia).

Young dancers from the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts  were  honored to show Tatar dance program in  tour of Turkey, which lasted more than 10 days. A group led by Dean of the Faculty of choreography of  KazSUCA  D.M.Davletshina  and Head of the Department of folk dance A.R. Khametova successfully performed on the stages of Istanbul, Adana, Afshin, Khatai  and Develi together with professional teams from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey,   Kabardino-Balkaria and North Ossetia (Russian Federation).
