«The days of gifting» at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan

In its anniversary year the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the program of celebrations invites residents and guests of Kazan and the Republic to take part in the traditional charity event "The days of gifting," which will be held from  April 1 to 5  and is timed to the opening of the museum.

"The days of gifting " provide a unique opportunity to contribute to the conservation of cultural heritage and traditions, to make history and put on  your name in a book of Honor  donors of the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

2015 - The year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, Year of literature in the Russian Federation, the Year of parks and gardens in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The museum awaits all who are willing to contribute to the replenishment of museum collections and will be grateful for it.

- Personal belongings, photographs, letters and documents of war veterans and home front workers; programs and posters of performances and other events held in Kazan during  the Great Patriotic War; photos of Victory Day celebrations in different years;

- Personal belongings, photographs and documents of prominent writers and poets of Tatarstan, book editions of different eras and modern book publishers;

- Photos and postcards with pictures of gardens, parks and squares late XIX - XX centuries.

Tatarstan is known for its bright victories by  sports teams, and one of the tasks of the museum in museum collections to  capture the sporting successes and achievements, not only of  the present day, but also the glorious names of athletes, sports clubs and teams of the XX century, and it is necessary to replenish the museum's collection of  sports uniforms and equipment , cups and trophies, posters and photos of events and athletes.

Gratefully the museum  accepts ethnographic objects of everyday life and the national dress of the peoples of the Volga region, antique furniture and lighting devices, urban costumes, objects of everyday life of XIX - early XX centuries., As well as products  by  masters of arts and crafts.

The museum continues to create collections on the history of the First World War and the White movement, and of particular interest are posters, photographs and documents of the beginning of XX century and the Civil War.

All   the gifts will be presented on April 5 at the show and are marked  in the following nominations:

- "Oldest" - the subject, dating from the earliest period;

- "The subject of legend" - the subject of a most interesting history;

- "Rarity" - the most unique item;

- "Subject-Memoria" - memorial objects related to the life and work of prominent people of Tatarstan and Russia.

The museum also will be grateful for sponsorship in the form of household appliances, office furniture, computers, printers, lighting, etc..

The action is held at the National Museum and its structural subdivisions: the Museum E. A. Boratynsy, the Museum-Memorial of the Great Patriotic War,  the  Museum  of K.Nasyri,     M. Jalil Apartment  Museum, Leo Tolstoy Museum, the Museum of the composer N.Zhiganov,   S.Saydash Museum,    G. Tukai Literary Museum,  the Literary Memorial Museum of Gorky, Vladimir Lenin House-Museum,  the  Museum of  Ya. Kupala in  Pechischi, Gorky Museum in Krasnovidovo.

Summarizing and rewarding will be held April 5 at 14.00 in the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.
