Republican Theatre Award "Tantana" presented in Kazan

On the International Day of Theatre, Kazan hosted the award ceremony of the Republican Theatre Award "Tantana."  The festive event was held on the stage of the Tatar State Academic Theatre of Kamal.

This year the award "Tintin," the first anniversary – it   is being awarded 5 times. Organizers have not ignored the fact that the celebration is taking place in the Year of the literature, so award winners received poets, writers and writers of the republic. Presenters of ceremony of awarding became the theater actors of Kamal theatre Iskander Khayrullin and Ramil Vaziev.

Presentation of awards was interspersed with concert items.  Such popular artists as Filyus Kagirov, Aydar Suleymanov, Maria Semenova, the State Ensemble of folk music under the direction of RT Aydar Fayzrahmanova and others performed before the spectators.

Two actresses have received awards in the category "Debut": a soloist of the Tatar Opera and Ballet  after M. Jalil  Venera Protasova for the role of Gilda in the play "Rigoletto" by   G. Verdi and actress    of Almetyevsk Tatar Drama Theater Alina Mudarisova   for  image of  Leila in the play "Amazon"  by I.Zayniev.

In the nomination "The honor and dignity" was awarded the People's Artist of Tatarstan, Kazan Youth Theater actor Alexander Kuptzov  was awarded.

"The best actor of puppet theater" became Tatiana Salikhova from Naberezhnye Chelny Puppet Theatre.

In the category "Best Actress" the highest score of the jury received the actress of  Kazan Youth Theatre, People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan  Galina Yurchenko.

Best Supporting Actor was played by Atninsk Drama Theatre named after G.Tukai  Marat Habibullin.

In "Best cameo" award was given to actor of S. Amutbaev  Menzelinsky Tatar Drama Theater   Lenar Minnemullin.

Best actor in musical theater became a soloist of M. Jalil  TASTOiB  Anton Polodyuk.

In the category "Best Actress" for the  role of  Old woman "Love  - don’t love" the  prize was  awarded  to  actress  of Kamal theater Fidania Nurullina. The audience  welcomed  the favorite actress  standing.

Victory in the category "Best Actor" won the actor of Naberezhnochelninskiy Tatar Drama Theater Razil Fahertdinov.

 "Best Ensemble" award  was handed    to artists  of  Almetyevsk Tatar Drama Theater for the play-verbatim "Nonfictional history."

One of the memorable moments of the ceremony was a video on  actors, who were gone the past year.  The audience  stood in silence to honor their memory.

As noted in her  speech the head of the literary and dramatic part of  Kamal theater, theater critic and member of the jury "Tantana" Niaz Iglamov  in a number of nominations were presented such strong work that it was  difficult to identify one winner, so the jury decided to give special prizes. Special prize "For creative growth" won the actress  of  Naberezhnochelninskiy Tatar Drama Theater Chulpan Arslanova. Prize for "The original interpretation of the image of   Raisa Panfilovny  in a play  by   Bugulminsky Russian Drama Theatre  after A. V.Batalov" Marriage of  Bal'zaminova" received Laysan Khabibullina. Special prize "For the creation of plastic show by  Kamal  TSAT " My Name is Red "was presented to Ramil Vaziev, Ilnur Zakirov, Emil  Talipov, Almaz   Sabirzyanov. For a unique performance for the blind and visually impaired children "Hedgehog and Fog"  a special prize was awarded  to  Naberezhnochelninsky Puppet Theatre. Actor of Kamal Theatre, People's Artist of Tatarstan Ildar Khairullin was awarded a special prize for Cultural Development Support Fund under the President of Tatarstan for Zigangirov role in the play "Hodja  Nasretdin."

 Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Guzel Nigmatullina named   Grand Prize winner "Event of the Year".   "For all of Tatarstaners, a  theater is an integral part of spiritual life. On behalf of the Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin I express to you my sincere gratitude for your contribution to the formation of a positive image and reputation of the republic as a large, reputable theater center of the country, "- she said.

"Event of the Year" in Tatarstan on the basis of the Republican Theatre Award "Tantana"   became  the play "Kara Polat" ("Black Chamber") staged  by  Tatar State Theatre of Drama and Comedy  named after K.Tinchurin  and "Hodja Nasretdin"   by G. Kamal Tatar State Academic Theatre.

Annual Republican Theatre Award "Tantana" was established by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatartsan. The prize is awarded to employees, of dramatic, musical and puppet theaters of the republic for outstanding creative achievements in the social and theatrical arts. The size of the award in each category is 50 thousand rubles.
