State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan again at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre

22 January 2015, Thursday

January 23 at the invitation of maestro Valery Gergiev, the  State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic Tatarstan  and Alexander Sladkovsky will present the second concert of subscription on the Orchestra in the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre. Musicians will perform a symphonic poem "Isle of the Dead" and the First Symphony by Sergei Rachmaninoff, as well as the first piano concerto by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. Together with Tatarstan  collective  one of the most exciting, promising and popular young musicians of the new generation of Russian performing school - Daniel Kharitonov - Fellow of  Interregional Charitable Foundation "New Names" under the leadership of D.L.  Matsuev   will perform.  Cooperation of Alexander Sladkovsky and RT GSO with the Fund "New Names" is not confined to the festival "Denis Matsuev friends", which is held annually in autumn  in  Kazan. One of the priorities of the orchestra was, and still remains the work with the younger generation of local musicians. A. Sladkovsky and his team often perform  with young talents who are just starting their careers. Such concerts for    RT GSO RT and its artistic director is of exceptional artistic value and high responsibility. Promotion of young talented musicians confirms and establishes a special creative state of the artist, unattainable in the conventional educational process - stage experience - in all its richness, diversity and originality. This is the active position of Alexander Sladkovsky and    RT GSO RT, and the concert on January 23 at the Mariinsky-3 is another convincing proof.

For Daniel Kharitonov to play along with the State Symphony Orchestra under the direction of maestro  Alexander Sladkovsky  at the best concert halls in the country - it is an opportunity to climb another step of mastery, and to fund "New Names" - an occasion for pride.
