January 27, at 14.00, a meeting of the club "Red Daisy" - "Duslykka tugrylyk" dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the writer Shaikhi Mannur is to be held. In the work of the club take part writers, fellow countrymen, artists, students and the public of the city of Kazan gymnasium.
Meetings of the club "Red Daisy", which has been working more than ten years at the Museum-apartment of Musa Jalil, this year will be devoted to the Year of Literature and the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
Shaikhi Mannur - a contemporary of Musa Jalil. They met in Moscow at the end of 1931, when after many wanderings Sh.Mannur moved to this city and got a job a employee in the office of the newspaper "Communist". In the same edition and Musa Jalil worked. Friendship, started in editorial office, Sh.Mannur remained faithful to the end. In 1959 he begins his novel on Musa Jalil. Collecting factual material for his novel, he traveled the Orenburg region, went to Menzelinsk, visited the places where fighting of 2nd Udarnaya (Strike) Army, as a tourist visited in Germany. The novel "Musa" was printed in 1964, and was marked by success. In 1970 he is working on an autobiographical book "Agim sularga Karup" ("Looking at the flowing water") and lyrical story "Chyn seyu barmy?" ("Is there true love?").
Shaikhi Mannur is not only a novelist, he is the author of poems, children's books, his words set to music, and the song "Mine koye" in many collections is considered even a folk song.
Back in 1957, he at his own expense in his native village Tulbaevo of Mamadysh region, he built a building for the library and donated his personal library. Since 1995, the library has acquired a new status of "Museum-Library named after Shaikhi Mannur."
