The Volga student festival of folk art "National treasure" held

December 8-9, the Volga student festival of folk art "National treasure", organized by the Kazan Federal University jointly with the Council of Rectors of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan was held.

The festival was attended by creative teams of higher and secondary educational institutions from all subjects of the Volga Federal District.

The festival is held for the purpose of preservation and development of language, culture and traditions of the indigenous peoples of the Volga, demonstrate the potential of organic co-existence in the general culture of the peoples of Russia.

The diploma of III degree of the student festival in nomination "arts and crafts" was awarded student of the Kazan college of folk arts and crafts Veronika Egorova for the work of art "Open-work table with a casket in the old-style Tatar."
